“Dr. Ronzo told me I had a real good case of spinal stenosis and that I was a candidate for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.  He promised me I would be walking the next morning and sure enough I was.  The next morning after a spinal fusion surgery he came to the hospital and couldn’t find me because I was walking the floors of the hospital.  I hadn’t walked like that in at least four years!”

"I know the pain I've been in and I understand that people are afraid to go to the doctor and if it's going to cost them a lot of money and being afraid of the after affects. I just have to explain how our Medicare and Supplemental insurance covered Dr. Ronzo's bill and how great it is being active, climbing mountains and all that stuff like Jim says. "Dr. Ronzo and I talked about my back and after having X-rays and a MRI scan performed and initially he thought the pain was fixable with physical therapy and pain management. So we tried those things and they didn't work so we opted for a lumbar 4 to 5 spinal fusion. Before surgery I was experiencing pain in the sciatica and both legs with some weakness. When I'd walk it would feel like I was going to fall. Now I can golf, I can work in the yard, and I try to stay as busy as I can. Recently I had the opportunity to drive two long distances, almost 500 miles in about a month. After each trip I got out of the car feeling fine."

"I had pain that was so debilitating that I was almost passing out. I was walking crooked due to the sharp pain in the bottom of my foot. I couldn't perform my tasks the way I normally would. I was always grouchy. The pain had taken over.
So I came to Dr. Bono and it was like he instantly took away my fear and calmed me down. He told me he could fix me and take the pain out of my foot. I left that day confident he could do it. I felt really comfortable with him.
The operation took an hour and half. He made two incisions that were minimally invasive which meant that I wouldn't have a long recovery. Getting back to work was most important to me.
As I said to my wife I've never been in a doctor's office where you go from the clerks, to the x-ray technicians, to the patient room to talk with doctor. It was like a well oiled machine. You don't sit there more than 5 minutes, and you know you're in good hands".

I was playing golf three times a week and all of the sudden I noticed, I'm having a heck of a time getting around out there. My Internal Medicine Doctor said, "well I'll send you to the best back surgeon in Florida, Dr. Ronzo". It was wonderful. I went and took my MRI. I said how soon can we get it fixed and he said "well how about a week or so?" I went in and it was great. I knew my insurance would take care of it. I work today on the golf course five days a week, just 100% better, I have no pain in my back at all and ya know, I can do anything these young kids can do!
